We are a very historic church in a small town in Georgia. While we have a historic past, we believe our best days are still ahead of us. If you are looking for a church that is friendly and will help you and your family grow more in love with Jesus, then this is the place for you.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
We preach and teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. There is no hope for the world apart from Jesus. He lived a perfect life, died, was buried, and rose again. He offers forgiveness of sins and the hope of eternal life for all those who would repent of their sins and believe in Him. We believe and preach the Bible as God's word.
OUR HISTORY
At Greensboro First Baptist Church, we have an honorable past, a continuing zeal for God’s mission, and a hopeful future. Our Baptist history dates back to 1786 when Greene County was created from the northern part of Washington County and the city of “Greenesborough” was chartered as the county seat.
